Brownsville, Tennessee is not far from Fedex Headquarters in Memphis. And it is close but much farther from Bentonville, Arkansas (WalMart Headquarters).
I was suprised to see a package I ordered delivered, and when I checked I could not find it. On checking the tracking information, it went (via Fedex) to Brownsville, Tennessee (in Western Tennessee off I-40 close to Memphis).
In this day and age, I believe it is more likely that one Obama's children, or Al Gore's Dixie Mafia was involved.
It also means that when someone STEALS something like this in this day and age, it can be tracked.
I am posting this article just as an alert for others out there.
BUMP to UPS Store mailboxes.
I’ve had one for several years due to USPS problems I had with my “rural delivery” home mail box.
In addition to sticking my daily mail in my in-store mailbox, the UPS Store accepts and holds packages for me. And they send me an email when I receive a pkg. 24 hour access, too.
One thing the muz gets right is chopping off the hand of a thief.
There are several aspects of their justice system that I find attractive. Unlike us, they understand the definition of the word speedy.
99% of my online ordering goes through Walmart now. All items sent to the closest store to be picked up at my convenience.
Too many problems with UPS and USPS.
Look for a late model red pickup truck with a white bed cap. You will be able to spot the one because of the USPS Inspector pickup following it!
Oh yes, look for two of Vincente Fox’s sons in the pickup.
I’m gonna put a swarm of bees out for them
So this very well might not be a mistake, but an intentional attempt to steal your stuff.
If you have a FEDEX tracking number, track it via their website.
Many times FEDEX and UPS will off-load the final delivery to the USPS. Those hand-offs always take an extra day or two for my deliveries.
Walmart is getting crushed by Amazon. Walmarts stock dropped 10 percent last week when they reported online sales figures.
It showed as being delivered by USPS.
WalMart has an incident report on this, and they will respond to me tomorrow about this.
Going to the wrong state?
Also, it went to a place easy driving distance from the Memphis Fed-Ex hub.
Ive been using amazon since 2002 and think my prime membership goes back to the beginning of prime
The few times something has gone missing or been damaged its been quickly replaced at no charge
I guess it helps that basically everyone on my street is in the tech industry and works from home...not much happens around here that doesnt get noticed by lots of people
It had a delivery address in Brownsville, Tennessee. Tracking info showed it handed off to USPS in Brownsville, Tennessee.
I normally use WalMart’s “Site-to-Store”, but I could not for this item, as it was from a “WalMart” partner.
Last time I visited Brownsville I was shocked at all the illegals there.
Origination in California.
Finally reaches Memphis, TN Hub.
Then it is routed to a FedEx hub that is a suburb of Memphis (Southaven, Mississippi).
Then it is routed and delivered to someone in Brownsville, TN (not far from Memphis,TN/Southaven, MS Fedex hubs.
It is my belief someone in the Southaven, MS hub changed its destination or was done from the Memphis, TN hub.

I changed the USPS tracking number with a bunch of x's in lieu of the last 14 digits...
With the tracking info I posted about Reply #38, one cannot convince this was an error, but just a theft at the Fedex Hub.
Oh, the USPS has it? And you didn’t get it? It went into the post office’s dark hole of missing packages (it was stolen)
