Is it possible to expose the Democratic Party for becoming a totalitarian cult? (vanity)

Just asking what people think. And here is the contact form for the DNC. "We want to hear from you," they say in all caps.

They should listen to what any American has to say since they do, after all, represent the whole country, all citizens, and they've sworn oaths to America. Clearly, though, they want to be dictators, and they think only what's acceptable to them should be allowed.

No. Unfortunately, being harassed by sophists is part of the human condition. You can, and must, be a philosopher to combat sophistry:q
sophist
1542, earlier sophister (c.1380), from L. sophista, sophistes, from Gk. sophistes, from sophizesthai "to become wise or learned," from sophos "wise, clever," of unknown origin. Gk. sophistes came to mean "one who gives intellectual instruction for pay," and, contrasted with "philosopher," it became a term of contempt. Ancient sophists were famous for their clever, specious arguments.
philosopher
O.E. philosophe, from L. philosophus, from Gk. philosophos "philosopher," lit. "lover of wisdom," from philos "loving" + sophos "wise, a sage."

"Pythagoras was the first who called himself philosophos, instead of sophos, 'wise man,' since this latter term was suggestive of immodesty." [Klein]

IMHO socialism is best defined as “cynicism directed at society, with concomitant naive faith in government.”
SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness POSITIVELY by uniting our affections, the latter NEGATIVELY by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.

Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil . . . - Thomas Paine, Common Sense (1776)

Although we need, we require, freedom of the press, wire service journalism is fundamentally flawed, in ways that inherently produce socialist propaganda. The wire services, and especially the AP, homogenize journalism and eliminate ideological diversity from it (I distinguish between news and editorial posture. I am speaking not about frank opinion such as editorials and op-eds, but of the implications planted in commercially sustainable general circulation journalism). This is true because
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. It is impossible indeed to prevent such meetings, by any law which either could be executed, or would be consistent with liberty and justice. But though the law cannot hinder people of the same trade from sometimes assembling together, it ought to do nothing to facilitate such assemblies; much less to render them necessary. - Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations
Every journalist learns in Journalism 101 that bad news sells, and that is what you get in journalism. The two kinds of bad news are
  1. news which embarrasses the people and institutions upon which society depends, and

  2. news which suggests that government isn’t doing enough to correct/prevent (1).

Clearly that kind of journalism promotes cynicism towards society and faith in government. And, thus, socialist ideology.

So, as I suggested earlier, journalism will always project socialist ideology as not being an ideology - and this is sophistry. You have to combat it with humility - admitting that in fact you do have an ideology and showing that the sophists are tendentious in claiming that they do not.

The Democratic Party and the Communist Party USA are one and the same.

I don’t see why lawfare wouldn’t work against them they’re all such bloody grafters. It would be hard given the bias of the courts, but you could probably find many many cases to file..

Never heard it put QUITE like that - yeah. They are. Uniparty, biparty, transparty, they’ve been having a party up there undermining the rightful government of the USA. They should both be shut down by the military for espionage and treason.

First thing you've got to do, is stop calling them the 'Democratic Party'.

It's Democrat...

Democrat party.

Democrat party.

I refuse to call it anything else. What’s more, Dems are triggered by it.

Finally! Someone gets it!

I've been posting that for years, to deafening silence.

No, because they aren’t trying to hide it.
