"The brave women of Fort Collins, who for years have been struggling against the cruel oppression of breasts imprisoned in clothing, were cheered when last February U.S. District Judge R. Brooke Jackson agreed with them. The law, said the judge, is based on gender discrimination, and violates the Fourteenth Amendments guarantee of the equal protection of the laws.

LOL!
14th Amendment? Who knew that all women were freed slaves and/or Black people? You learn something new every day!
PFFT!
Only thing Bratt has is Sam’s; only thing Keene has is
Unbridled Chocolates. Boom.
[The Pumpkin Fest is cute, but has grown too big for its britches.]
On the other hand...human womens breasts are exaggerated in size as a sexual attractant. It generally works that way in primates that mate front to front. Those that have colorful hindquarters mate from behind.
Male chests and female chests are not indistinguishable.
If this passes mustard I can see it now walking down the Newport Beach Boardwalk with the WIDE variety of women.
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times”
We still have obscenity laws, at least outside of San Fagsicko.
Good grief, this thread started degenerating by post #2.
Having seen many topless beaches in France and Italy, I can assure you that most women’s boobs are not that attractive. Seriously. Trust me.
“Look: there is nothing that says any female HAS to go topless.”
No, but this ruling could mean that many people, including children, are forced to tolerate being exposed to topless women. Do you think it is healthy for children and teenagers to be exposed to nudity, and they and their parents have no say?
“No parent is going to let a prepubescent or adolescent daughter expose her self in the view of boys.”
You are fooling yourself if you think it won’t happen.
You seem to forget that we live in a day in which a large percentage of the population have conceded that homosexuality and “transgenderism” are normal.
Parents could lose their children for opposing such indoctrination. Some states are trying to vilify and criminalize “conversion therapy.” There is propaganda to make it appear that all attempts to help children and teenagers to be normal by traditional standards, is torture and abuse.
Further, parents do not control their teenage “children.”
In order for civil society to continue to function it is necessary that we have reasonable standards of public behavior. And this means laws that prevent public indecency.
Children also need to be protected from being exposed to lascivious behavior.
Alright ladies, let them hang out there!
I have to punt on this. Depending on which state, it could be considered, assault, battery, sexual assault, felony battery or felony sexual assault.
That is my interpretation. In a public place like a beach, all females, regardless of age, could be topless if they wished.
Holy cow!
When those men and their governments act in an evil fashion.
There is weirdness out there for sure. I have twice encountered stark nekkid women strolling about, one in Stanton Park on Capitol Hill and the other walking along Benning Road near the RFK Stadium parking lots. The one in Stanton Park was young and actually quite attractive, but as I was escorting a passel of preschool kids, we did not dawdle to observe developments. The other was a walking basket case and the Men in Blue were already trying to get her to drape a blanket. I’ve never seen a naked man wandering around.Guess men have better judgment in such matters, based on an imposing sample size of two.
