Has anyone else noticed this?
I read that he was adopted. He may be hispanic or not. Cannot tell just by his adopted last name.

In my school days, 1952-1964, we saw lots of guns and knives in school. it meant kids were going to leathercraft class and making holsters and sheathes. Many of us kids back then had a folding knife and breaks were spent sharpening them with a whetstone. If you didn’t, you were “out”.
Then came Madalyne Murray O’Hair, John Kennedy murder, and later the Bobby Kennedy killing, and everything went to hell in a hand basket.

I’m a veteran urban high school teacher. My district is perhaps 50% black, 40% white, and 10% Asian.
My lesser-problem students were almost all black. Those were the kids that came to class late, used a cell phone in class, and got involved in spontaneous hallway fights.
But my truly psycho students were mostly all white. Those were the ones who plotted out the bullying and the thefts. Those were the ones who could lie to your face with a smile.
This kid was Hispanic. And I’m not knocking Hispanics.
Ironically enough, I had to complete an Active Shooter video course here at work. I’d been putting it off, as I’m too busy. But it was due by 02/16/2018, so I took it.
It was effective and informative enough, but one thing stood out.
The course instructor said that any race, religion, color or gender can commit mass murders.
Gender? Really?
Can someone tell me when if ever a woman went on a mass shooting spree?
And while blacks can and do kill at will - when was the last time a black man committed mass murders?

Black males do indeed kill at will. But they do not do so in the context of a mass shooting.
A lot of times the local media will not even give a name to the victim. I’ll read about “a man” who was found shot dead in an alley in West Pullman. I am sure some victims remain unidentified, but that many?

They do in the broad way the left defines "mass shooting". They keep screaming about all the "mass shootings" in America but never mention that the one's they are describing are black inner city gangbangers.
It’s also correct that a majority of all drive-by shootings are by blacks. Which when added up account for at least several hundred murders every year. And those murders occur on a daily basis.

I just checked my FB feed and someone has now put up the meme that alleges the Florida shooter is a white male alt-right terrorist. There were photos of him with a semi auto pistol and the one with him wearing the MAGA ball cap. I believe I read here yesterday that the ball cap photo was on his social media account and accompanied with all sorts of anti-Trump comments and likely he was mocking Trump (as opposed to supporting him).
We all know the ultimate goal is to take EVERYONE's guns, but that's not possible, politically.
So how about taking it in little bites - peel off one small group. White males, 16-25 maybe...
If correct then you could use an analogous defense that the left uses for justifying minority violence.
In case you haven’t noticed, the only institutionalized bigotry in the US today is against white males and in the press, white males are baaaad. That’s why we need antifa to straighten them out.
So, I guess the weaker white-male minds can’t deal with all this and they lash out.
Imagine being a mental crip and being told all throughout your incarceration in liberal run public schools how horrible white males are. You turn on the radio or tv and hear how horrible you are. Your a bigot, homophobe, rapist, planet-killer, and conspire with other whiteys to defraud the general public.
Eventually, they snap, and kill...
