Scott Baio's legal representative and spokesperson responded to allegations of child abuse and sexual harassment from Charles in Charge co-stars Alexander Polinsky and Nicole Eggert made in a press conference earlier on Wednesday, during a press conference of their own. Baio, himself, was not present.
Spokesperson Brian Glicklich and legal rep Jennifer McGrath held the conference in his place, beginning by reading a statement from Baio, which read in part, For reasons I dont understand I am the victim of false claims that threaten everything precious in my life Mostly, Im stunned I will not let this continue I will use every ounce of strength I have to fight this."
McGrath then said that Polinsky makes his claims in front of cameras and noted that attorney Lisa Bloom defended Harvey Weinstein. Bloom did advise Weinstein when allegations of sexual harassment first surfaced against the disgraced Hollywood mogul. She later withdrew from her legal team, saying, "I saw this as a unique opportunity to change the way these stories go. I was wrong. It turns out nobody is ready to hear an apology when a shocking story comes out."

Remember that Eggert was friends with Baio and even appeared on his reality show BEFORE he started talking about his conservative views and supported Trump.
Where in the Fonz when Chichi really needs him?
Exactly! The left is trying to punish him for being an outspoken Trump supporter.
Support Trump and get publicly flayed.
I think he did it when she was underage. She may want publicity now. But don’t do the crime if you cannot do the time.
These Liberals are all crazy and so full of hate..
Destroy is all they want to do...
wake up voters..do you want them in charge of CONGRESS??? GOD HELP US IF YOU DO...
VOTE STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN IN NOV. 2018..
You think he did what?
Careless assertions like yours are 100% of the problem!
I think he did it when she was underage.
?????
Why on Earth would you say that???
He and her own statements prove she was over 18. Watch his own video on it.
Probably best to ignore conservative98. He’s often just agitating for attention. Not worth the time and effort to engage him.
I listened to his original answer and he didn’t sound believable. When asked about the incidents at age 14, instead of saying nothing happened, he said, “I don’t know what that means.” And he worked on the show for 5+ plus years with her, but didn’t do anything until she turned 18 which would have been the last year of the show. I think she was a willing particpant and wants publicity, but I don’t believe Scott at all.
I believe him over the political hack accuser.
Notice also that Polinsky’s Lisa Bloom story CONTRADICTS Eggert’s. He basically said she was the aggressor (sat on Baio’s lap) and was going after Baio the entire time they were on set. How would that be “abuse” even if it was true?
His people brought up the totally right thing, too, that Lisa Bloom arranges payments from lefties from women like this for “telling their truths” on shows that also pay money like Dr. Oz.
She sure has filled out to put it nicely. Most likely some deeper emotional issues going on here. Sure looks like a washed up starlet looking for attention.
While you may believe him, I don’t believe either of them. His body language and response to the question about the garage was a deceptive tell. A stuttering and nervous answer of I don’t know what that means answer is not a good denial. Im not sure what happened in the garage but he is not telling everything he remembers.
His response should have been I have no recollection of her being in my garage ever or that nothing happened at 14. If nothing happened in his garage his response would have been far more irate, defiant, defensive, etc; instead he seems to brush it off quickly and move on, sip coffee, nothing to see here
