Reading these stories just makes me care less and less about football with each passing year, not to mention all the anthem stuff as well.

Sad, but seriously, should he be driving?

I vaguely remember being 19 and on several occasions when I was attending my first college in upstate New York where the drinking age was 18, I would forget where I had parked my mother’s ‘66 GTO and just walk up the hill to my dorm and pass out. The next day it might have taken me a couple of hours to find it because even though the town was small, there 63 bars scattered about. At least I remembered to always take the keys out of the ignition before I started drinking. Not saying that this former Cowboy was out hitting the firewater, but 4 AM?

No he shouldn’t. He probably needs somebody with him when he goes somewhere so this won’t happen again.

"...48 years old. My God..."
Agree, it is very unfortunate. The endless head trauma has to take a toll over decades of playing that sport.

One wonders how the league is working on game rule modifications and comprehensively improving helmet technology?

“You can see this all the time at your local mall, Parking Lot Amnesia”
Yup. This condition affects a good number of Americans at the mall. Aside from “I forgot my parking stub and lost it somewhere” -itis.

Actually I think the best thing they can do is to go back to leather helmets, which would encourage proper tackling form.

Chances are he had something else on his mind when he parked.

Not me .... I have my favorite spots / areas and I'll drive around until one opens up .... I NEVER drive around more'n /twice or so.
The odds are in my favor with hundreds or close to a thousand cars, ONE is done shopping in an area I want to be .... it never fails.
