Very interesting and thanks for the post. Some day hopefully far into the future I’m going to have to travel a long ways to get a descent look at the stars. Also hopefully we’ll have flying cars by then. But then of course, I’ll be dead.
This would wreck havoc with Plants and Animal life.
There aren’t many plants over the polar circle.
So...what do they do when it’s cloudy, as in socked in, 100% cloud cover?
How many Russians does it take to change a billion watt light bulb?
My brother in law and I gathered enough parts of a Taylorcrart BC 12 D and learned to fly about 40 years ago. Had a heart attack ar 45 and quit flying. 79 now should take it up again.
Wow! Are you naive!

Yeah. I can explain a good landing technique, but my first attempt would likely end in some heaven time.
If you try, legally anyway, you'll have an instructor in the right seat who'll save your @$$.

Actually the instructor would be in the left seat for the first couple attempts. If those didn’t work out, I wouldn’t have an instructor anymore. But this is all speculative. I don’t have the cash to dream about flying for real.
Thank you for an actual sentence with correct spelling and word usage, I was wondering if I’d had a stroke or something for a second there, lol.
Not the way it works. Or maybe, worked I got my first ticket circa 1976. Student always flies from the left seat.

See, that’s why I don’t have a license. Don’t know much about the actual process of getting one. But, as I was trying to say earlier, I don’t trust anyone with their hand on the yoke besides myself, no matter their training or experience. It’s completely irrational, I know. And I can’t really teach a class, I can just explain the best way to land and take off. Depending on the plane, of course.
I flew in and out of more pasture and grass fields than I had a right to survive but I always felt safe in my own hands. Maybe a little delusional but what a kick.
