It's day 4! I didn't stay up all night and watch events live, so I'll have to settle for canned Olympics.
And that’s why Virtue & Moir are Canadian champs.
Solid Silver!
We should never lose to frickin’ Canada in ANYTHING!
Canada-Gold
OAR-Silver
USA-Bronze
T’ain’t bad.
I was wrong, but we got the Bronze.
Canadian dancing pair did great! Canadians get the gold for the team event.
NPR in Boston was absolutely orgasmic over the fact that a black hockey player from Boston University was going to the Olympics.
It was really over the top.
.
In that event I liked the Italians the best, followed by the Russians.

Hooray! Jamie Anderson wins the Gold!
Woohoo! Go Jamie!
Haha. He does!
USA!USA!USA!
Love it!!!!
Thank you. That was a very interesting video. I’ve always liked watching biathlon. It seems that the two disciplines, target shooting and cross country skiing, work against each other. Target shooting requires focus and calm, while cross country skiing really boosts heart rate.
Being able to master both your performance on skis and your ability to hit targets is a real feat.
And NBC featured the black female speed skater whose father is an IMMIGRANT, as if we couldn’t have fielded a team without IMMIGRANTS to thank. But she is quite fast!
Oh, you mean Maame Biney? I love that girl! I hope she goes all the way to gold!
She seemed like a nice kid, I just think NBC uses people like this for their agenda.
Never got into the Olympics before. This weekend we were home bound and my husband was watching curling and Luge runs which held my interest for about half an hour. When the snowboarding came on I actually was enjoying it. Then that biathlon stuff was boring as heck. Tuned in later to all the ice skating.
It was hard for me to keep track of who’s who and the scoring but I know that last night I was rooting for either the Russian couple or the cute American brother/sister duo. I was disappointed when Canada scored higher because I did not like them as much.
The thing was with me the chattering of those four color commentators during the performances of the ice skaters. It was constant yak yak yak yak even over when I was trying to hear what the judges were saying. You couldn’t enjoy the music and the performing with their constant inane chatter.
I know, even with the most basic moves they had to chime in and tell us about it lol. I guess that’s their job but they could have been more selective maybe.
