I thought he was outstanding in Psycho along with whoever it was who played Janet Leigh’s sister. When he confronts crazy Tony Perkins, it is one of the best acted scenes in the movies. Old Hollywood, before the leftist creeps took over.

Now if Harvey Weinstein had looked like him would the women be complaining?

Since I was a young girl when I heard the term tall, dark and handsome , I always thought of John Gavin. What a beautiful man he was. The cherry on the top is that he also was a smart man who served very admirably as Ambassador to Mexico during the Reagan administration. RIP Ambassador Gavin.

Just the other day, I saw a Perry Mason episode with Constance Towers. I looked on the internet to see if she was still alive, and I was surprised to learn that she was married to John Gavin.

My first notice of John Gavin was in Backstreet with Susan Hayward. My mom was a huge Susan Hayward fan and when I watched Backstreet with her I fell in love with John Gavin. Darn he was handsome!

I’m just finding out about this handsome man.
When I saw the name, I was confusing him with some bald actor....not sure why.
