After eating an overly salty spinach salad I am ready for a piece of that gorgeous cake. I’m putting whipped cream on it too ; )
The recipe for that cake says that you shouldn’t skimp on the nuts or else the whole thing won’t ‘work’; I’m trying to figure that out. Do the nuts ‘sink’ and that somehow helps create the fudge-y center?
It makes you wonder if the original recipe may have been a happy fluke...
