Russia was banned from competing in the Winter Olympics this year as a country, but that does not mean Russian athletes aren’t participating the the games.
The athletes will be wearing neutral colors and be referred to as an “Olympic Athlete From Russia.”

Only some athletes, a very small number, and they aren’t representing the country. No Russian flags, no Russian uniforms, no Russian anthem. Watching many NCAA teams get banned from bowl/ championship consideration because a coach who isn’t there anymore broke the rules for players that aren’t there anymore I’m OK with this. Russia is out, but these athletes who did nothing wrong shouldn’t be punished because Putin wanted to stack their numbers 4 years ago.
