Macy's aims new women's clothing at Muslims

Macy's is launching a women's clothing line designed specifically for Muslim shoppers.

The department store chain said it teamed up with a boutique called Verona Collection and plans to sell the collection of modest dresses, tops, cardigans and hijabs online. The clothing will launch on Macy's website on Feb. 15.

Another example of the camel's nose under the tent. If Muzzlime women want hijabs, let them buy them at one of their own stores. I REALLY don't want to go to a Macy's and see a display of them, plus the groups of Muzzlime women looking them over. It would make me feel very uncomfortable, like I'm not in my own country. NYC has plenty of other sites which also make me doubt that I'm in my own country. Not only do I not want to see a Muzzlime-specific display of clothing with the attendant Muzzlimes clustered around them, I do not want to subsidize that display and other Muzzlime articles by making a purchase at Macy's. I haven't bought anything there in a long time, and now it looks like it's going to be far longer before I do, if I do it. I'd love to know what Muzzlimes have done that's so great as to deserve Macy's carrying articles of their religion-specific clothing. And hey--isn't wearing a hijab and making a woman hide herself sexist or something? Why aren't we hearing about that?

Well, I’d stop shopping at Macy’s for that reason alone except that I don’t shop there anyway cause their stuff is way overpriced crap.
