“This has to be the most unrealistic of the comic book movies.”
Right, because it’s so realistic that Superman can fly fast enough to spin the earth backwards and reverse time.
That sounds racist.
From the trailer the hero of this movie is some kind of black spiderman?
A black superhero named after a black hate group? will there be a KKKlanman superhero in the future?
I’ll pass, there’s enough hate whitey out there already, why would I need more?
The character, mythical nation, and backstory way predate all the SJW garbage. That said, the current lot of directors and a plurality of the actors are going full retard on the hate and I expect they’ve done all they can to ruin this myth.
I would guess those ordinarily inclined to see something like Black Panther would more likely be fans of Death Blow.
Death Blow: When Someone Tries to Blow You Up, Not Because of Who You Are, But for Different Reasons Altogether.
The same will happen with Captain Marvel.
Well, hes quite conflicted. He cant make up his mind if he should explore or import.
Thanks!
Love Letter To Black People?
The comic book character “Black Panther” was created and made famous by two white guys.
It will also be interesting to discover what percentage of the film cost was financed by risk taking Black people.
It’s missing the number “nine”.
Just watched the promo. My sides!!!
Folks who read for pleasure dont read Marvel
Marvel created the Black Panther character before the Black Panther Party existed. He had a panther as a sidekick. They tried changing the character's name to Black Leopard to avoid being tied in to the hate group, but that didn't last long.
I’ve always enjoyed Moon Knight (aka Marc Spector, Steven Grant, Jake Lockley.) Basically, a Batman with multiple personality disorder.
I just don’t see the appeal in this movie for black boys who like gangbanger stories or nerdy white boys who like superhero stories about strong white men and beautiful Israeli goddesses of war.
Looks like a flop to me.
One of my favorites too. I loved the original series from the 80s (Moench/Sienkiewicz). It is on my list of things I’d like to revisit someday.
Same here. I seldom come across an unfamiliar word. Thanks.
Agreed. Grew up on Silver Age.
But the Socialist Injustice Warriors are working feverishly to destroy that legacy.
Granted, the Black Panther had some leftist roots, since the comic industry has always been rooted in New York leftism, and they were building on the ‘60s cultural revolution, but it has fully metasticized.
Tragic tbat they destroy everything for communism. Sad that the Fantastic Four, The World’s Greatest Comic Magazine, and the source for most of what came later, such as the Tessaract (Cosmic Cube), Adam Warlock (Him), Ronan the Accuser, and the Black Panther, will likely never be done justice in cinema.
