CINCINNATI, OH (WCMH) Melania Trump visited a childrens hospital in Cincinnati to hear about the opioid epidemic in Ohio.
The first lady was on a rare policy trip with President Donald Trump, flew with him to Ohio on Monday and then went their separate ways.
She went to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center where hospital officials briefed her on opioids. She also met with patients.
The president went off to Sheffer Corp. in the city of Blue Ash to promote the package of tax cuts he signed into law last year. The company recently gave its 126 workers bonuses of $1,000 apiece and attributed the gift to the windfall from corporate tax cuts in the new law.
Mrs. Trump was accompanied to the hospital by presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway.

Our First Lady is always beautiful but in the presence of children she absolutely GLOWS.
I first noticed this in the primary when she interacted with the Cruz children.
To First Lady Melania's List.
Prayers for all these children.
We have SUCH a lovely, kind-hearted FLOTUS! *HEART*
I agree!
Love it!
Our First Lady is always beautiful but in the presence of children she absolutely glows. I first noticed this in the primary when she interacted with the Cruz children.
That's when I, too, realized that she is 100% the real deal and the woman who inspired Trump to change the world. I see her as a gift from the creator.....given incredible talent, beauty, intelligence and compassion, she has been directed to put those attributes to good use. We saw who she is when she was tending to the Cruz children at that primary debate.
When she visited the Vatican, we saw her strong, devout belief show forth.
When she and President Trump visited Sicily, it evoked a vision of what it must have been like when a triumphant Cleopatra Selene 2 and Juba 2 returned to visit the seats of power of ancient Rome. (I wonder if anyone knows that historic reference)
I gush. But I sincerely do believe that Melania is one of that small number of women who throughout history changed the world.
I see they came there together. Does that mean the main stream media can get over there trial separation baloney?
“I gush. But I sincerely do believe that Melania is one of that small number of women who throughout history changed the world.”
I equate her to Dolly Madison, wife of President James Madison.
President Madison was a shy, short, introverted bookworm who was out of place in a social setting.
Dolly was in her element is social settings. She kept up with fashion trends and knew not only who should be invited to dinners, but who should be seated together, who needed extra attention and who needed pampering.
She was everything her husband wasn’t.
When her husband told her to leave the capital during the War of 1812, she made sure that important historical documents and paintings were evacuated.
Even during the primary Melania had a soothing effect.
Where her husband was bold, brash and In Your Face Melania was warm, soothing and friendly.
Melania is secure within herself and is “comfortable in her own skin”.
Like her husband, what you see is what she is.
Just as Dolly was the Ying to her husbands Yang, so is Melania to her husband.
Melania is on track to become my all time favorite First Lady.
Honorable mentions:
Martha Washington.
She worked with a blank slate as first First Lady.
Grace Coolidge. She put up with Silent Cal who said of her “for almost a quarter of a century she has borne with my infirmities and I have rejoiced in her graces”.
It’s her inner angel showing bigly.
She just can’t help it.
I’d add Pat Nixon to the list-————she was virtually ignored by Nixon.
.
;o)
I cannot begin to explain the differences between this most gratious and beautiful lady and the bitter and condescending hag previously termed the “First Lady”. Michelle “The Moooooooooooch” Obama shouldn’t even be allowed to wash Melinia Trumps clothes or shine her shoes.
There is “Class” and there is “an ass”, and the Moooooch has a fat one at that!
Love that picture!
Thank you for this beautiful Melania thread.
Melania is off the charts classy.
“Id add Pat Nixon to the list-she was virtually ignored by Nixon.”
Y’know, Pat was so far in the background I had forgotten about her.
My apologies to Pat Nixon, she struggled under a double load.
Not likely but , if so, they’ll cook up something else.
