In England, the unknown Fifth Man in the Cambridge Spy Ring was Anthony Blunt, who was an advisor to the Queen.

He was outed decades after other spies including Burgess, McLean and Philby were found out but escaped to Russia. Blunt remained as a “mole” for decades.

Blunt’s major claim to infamy was that he gained such an insider status pver the years with many honors before he was finally given immunity and confessed.
