I’m not fighting with you Fantasywriter. You had asked for a way to get the Q posts minimized.
In your post 68 you stated:

I was simply conveying what I understood to be the truth about the presence of these posts. The answer to that comment is that ransom note has in fact gotten permission from the head of this forum and it is a settled issue, in my mind. We will all see Q posts on FR as long as ransomnote ,MNDude and others desire to post them within the confines that JimRob has outlined.
I do wish you well, but am not understanding the umbrage you have toward those of us who find the Q posts interesting. Not all here who are trying to penetrate the posts are 100% convinced of their veracity, but they are at least looking without being offensive/defensive. Many here are also finding that there are a lot of verified facts of interest being brought to light with many curious connections being drawn and seen.
If your first comment is to ask about why there are so many Q threads and how to minimize them, I have been wondering why you feel driven to involve yourself in and seem to be provoking a thread war.
As I said, I do wish you well, and hope we can hear your thoughts without them being freighted with disdain. I hope ALL disdain will disappear! It is very distracting and does not serve peace of mind for any - nor promote the effort to understand the crumbs being dropped by the mystery poster, Q so that those drops may be convicted of either veracity or error.
My umbrage derives from the fact that the post you allude to didn’t arise out of the blue. It was posted in response to a repeatedly unfounded accusation. If you could trouble yourself to read the context, you’d understand.
Nice try. Lost on that person though, I’m afraid. I think the Q drops and the stuff that the Anons come up with are interesting and entertaining.
It beats what’s on TV that’s for sure. I have never understood that need to be the nanny editor types that want to harass and disparage various threads. I just ignore threads and figure to each his/her own.
