Comey in Trouble, Lawyer Moves to Have Him Disbarred

At what point do public officials need to face professional consequences for their abuses of power?

That’s what an attorney in Maryland is asking, and posing serious questions about former FBI Director James Comey’s credentials as a lawyer in the wake of this week’s memo scandal.

According to The Washington Times, Ty Clevenger has filed a formal grievance to disbar Comey in New York, where the now scandal-plagued ex-director is licensed by the state bar to practice law.

More recently, Democrat President Bill Clinton was disbarred by the state of Arkansas for committing perjury during the Monica Lewinksy scandal.

Clevenger might be taking a long shot against Comey and others in the same circle, but he already has a few successes under his belt.

“Mr. Clevenger is also challenging the bar membership of Mrs. Clinton’s lawyers,” The Washington Times explained.

The attorney already “has won a court order in Maryland demanding the grievance committee there conduct an investigation into David E. Kendall, Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson over allegations they destroyed evidence in the email probe,” the newspaper continued.

It’s a small step toward justice, but at least it’s headed in the right direction.

Establishment players such as James Comey have acted with impunity for far too long. They need to learn one lesson: Nobody is above the law or his sworn duty — not even the director of the FBI. In fact, especially not the director of the FBI.

Being officially disbarred may not be a life-altering event for somebody like Comey, but it’s a professional slap in the face.

It would send a signal that the ex-director’s peers will not tolerate lying and deception. When even the lawyers think you’re slimy, you’ve definitely fallen to a low place.

Unmembered and deballed would be a start. He isn’t a fit human being, let alone lawyer.

But that closeup of him yesterday I saw here, with the long curly eyelashes... he was a pretty boy... wonder whether the Epstein cameras ever rolled on his proclivities.

Comey deserves a fair trial followed by time in prison.

Strip ALL of these Swamp Creatures of their material wealth.

Bar them from making a comfortable living ever again.

Leave them under a bridge in LA and let the feral animals deal with them.

This is a good line. Those who lie for a living think you’re a sleaze, you can hang it up.

I’d enjoy the freeway underpasses filled with the unsanitary unwashed if I knew they were all Clinton and obama butt boys and girls.

The Clintons had political enemies in the Arkansas establishment who were happy to disbar Bill.

Why would any sane person think the left-wing NY Bar is going to disbar an attorney fighting on behalf of Democrats until after a felony conviction? Not going to happen.

Comey believe the FBI to be the arbiter of the law. He uses the law to further his agenda. His guiding principle is rule by law. This stands in direct opposition to the founder’s conviction that we must be guided by the rule of law and not by rulers who use the law to enforce their power. Indeed according to the principles embodied in our constitution there are no rulers in our government, only servants who serve at the will of the people.

“Clinton was disbarred but he’s still out there havin’ fun”

No, really he looks like death warmed over. He is the same age as our vibrant President Trump! Who is having fun? Not Clinton, just look at his pictures. He is a shadow, a parody or his former self, when he took advantage of women in the sacred Oval Office.

The law was a means to an end for Bill... early entrance into politics, and a chance for the brass ring of the Presidency. He doesn't need to practice law any mo'.

New York, the same state that Hillary bought her congressional seat. I’m sure that’s just a silly coincidence.

Every one of the coup plotters, Comey, Weinstein, Page, Strzok, Priestap, Lynch, Obama, etc. ARE ALL ATTORNEYS!

At an absolute minimum, all should be disbarred, impeached, and be subject to grand juries.

If examples aren’t made of them then this will continue to happen. Look at Lois Lerner at the IRS. Nothing happened and abuse in gov’t just got worse. Penalties need to be increased for gov’t officials because it needs to serve as a real deterrent. Losing your job isn’t enough.
