I’ve forgotten what gaslighting means in this context. And Qx is no help about it and I’m too lazy to look it up.

Gas lighting is a very horrifying form of psy-op - the effort of which is to cause someone to think they are crazy - or to make others around them think the target is crazy.

There was a movie by that name, and this particular mind rape technique was named for it.

The term “gaslighting” comes from a 1938 stage play called Gaslight, in which a husband attempts to drive his wife crazy by dimming the lights in their home (which were powered by gas), then denies that the lights change when the wife asks him about them.
