Did he actually lose any weight?
We’ve always had two, sometimes three, cats. We’ve never figured out how to diet the fat one while feeding the others adequately.
I think he actually did in the beginning! He went from about 12 pounds to 11. I’m trying to get him to his optimum weight of 10, but now that he has discovered people food it’s all over. He gets so excited when we eat, twirling in circles, running over meowing, and staring at me with those big Persian eyes....It’s real hard to say no… So I don’t.
Once we ditched all kibbles (dry food) for cats, years ago, we’ve never had a heavy cat. Feeding them twice a day, they seem fine.
