"We expect a meaningful guide lower when the company reports on Thursday night, on the order of $5 to $6 billion compared to consensus revenue estimates," Long says.
While the global iPhone user base is still growing, Long says users are keeping their devices longer, a trend that could continue in 2018 if the next model iPhones are not particularly impressive. He also says Apple may finally be losing its iPhone pricing power.
"Following 10 years where [average selling prices] have generally moved higher, we believe prices will plateau as with the rest of the industry," Long says.
BMO has downgraded Apple stock from "outperform" to "market perform" and lowered its price target for the stock from $199 to $162, but there are other analysts who still see Apple as a solid investment.
Bank of America analyst Wamsi Mohan says Apple's long-term future is more dependent on its Services segment than its hardware sales.

Besides that the Windows 10 license is linked to the machine it’s on, embedded in the bios. So you can’t switch it to a new /different device without going through some royal pain hassles.
Apple pays a decent dividend, I’m not selling any of mine for the time being.
It’s been like that since they Killed XP.
Buy an MP3 and expect to play it on any device? LOL
You must buy a new license to play it on another device. BAH!
They have us on a crack treadmill
And Brother, I don’t need an app from the app store to buy a damn pizza.
My Buddys wife did this and they ****ered it all up, payment was not made.
He had to wait 20 min and pay out of pocket
I said youre doing it wrong.
I go down there for a frosty beer, chat with the barmaid and my pizza is ready before the beer is gone.
Piping hot, I got a beer, got away from the old lady and did not have to pay her phone bill. LOL
I had my son take off MS 10 last week and install Linux on and haven’t looked back. Don’t worry about viruses either. Much more secure.
Volkswagen GTI: A pocket pistol to win the West, and everywhere else, Car and Driver March 1985.
Still miss the car.
Mint?
I have not fooled with Linux in a number of years (Unbuntu).

In regard to MP3s in Windows, I never use Windows Media Player or whatever program MS is pushing. If you’re using Win XP thru Win 8.1, WinAmp still works great:
http://www.winamp.com
If you want something really simple, there’s TrayPlay:
http://chime.tv/products/trayplay.shtml
Or for -all- media files, video and audio, on Windows, open them in SMPlayer, it handles pretty much every type of media file you can throw at it:
https://www.smplayer.info
All of the above are free and don’t contain malware. I use them and never use Windows to play any media.
Zorin
*** “Agree. Could be a buying opportunity” ***
Agree (that and a Stock Split = Retirement Funded)
I saw them in 82, The “October” tour.
J Geils blew them away.
They were good, but went downhill quickly after Sunday bloody sunday
Thanks
Pretty cool little car!
I think the strongest car + song memory I have was toolin’ down the highway in a 1970-something Vauxhall convertible with “Radar Love” booming through the radio - “half past four and I’m shifting gear”.....
Funny how certain song can bring to mind vivid memories of little things!

J Geils was great! U2 was always too pretentious for my taste - starting with the name, lol.
Just reloaded the defunct winamp on this machine last weekend :)
Winamp really whips the llamas ass!

Zorin is a good distro, but I don’t like to stray too far from the Ubuntu base, so I usually go with Mint.
Good memories, I enjoyed reading both!
Bono was the pretentious one.
He made a career of it but aint my cup of tea, pissed off just about everyone off along the way...
GWB kissed his butt for some odd reason.
Oh, yeah. Winamp has always been my choice for MP3s. But if you haven’t tried SMPlayer for other media - especially video, you should give it a whirl.
You have to set the preferences to your likings, but it’s great. The only thing it’s not the greatest at is playing physical DVDs/BluRay, for that I use VLC media player or Potplayer.

I’m just not into any band/artists that is considered somehow socially important. I’m of the “shut up and play” school.
