FULL TITLE: Michelle Obama finally reveals that Melania Trump's Inauguration Day gift was a 'lovely frame' as she discusses awkward exchange on The Ellen Show
For many of the millions of people watching, it was one of the more comical moments of Inauguration Day 2017.
As well as witnessing one of the most awkward exchanges ever between Melania Trump and Michelle Obama, many wondered what the gift was that the new First Lady gave to her predecessor on the steps of the White House on Friday, January 20, 2017.
Well, the mystery has finally been solved, as Michelle revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that inside the signature Tiffany-blue box was a 'lovely frame'.

The White House was still the Obama's house at that point and Melina was bringing a gift to them as she entered their house. Michelle had no manners and did not know to say "thank you".

'This is like a state visit so they tell you they're going to stand here, and never before do you get this gift so I'm kind of like, "OK...What am I supposed to do with this gift?" Two thoughts
1) You accept the gift and say "thank you." Its called being a human being.
2) Interesting tone from M.O. reveals how much she was simply told what to do, and how she thought this would simply be more of the same.
