BRAVO!!!!!
No beef wellington. Baahhh.. I’always have beef wellington when I cruise .. or I don’t go.. that and chilled soups fruity or squashy is fine by me..
I don’t think I would be really excited about the rosewater sorbet- rosewater tastes a bit soapy to me. But heck, I’m sure it was great.
I’ll just have the grilled cheese and ham sandwich.
It was a pretty color, I agree the taste was maybe not as good as a berry sorbet would be.
Great menu, what one would expect for a first class maiden voyage passenger. Now, for those of you in steerage, howsa bout big kettles of porridge, if the SHTF we’re going to lock you in below decks anyway...
No Cream of Barley for you!

"Southern Fried Chicken with a big pot of pork -n- beans, mashed taters with gravy and turnip greens, hot buttermilk biscuits as big as a cats head, split them with butter and fill'em with mama's peach preserve spread."
OMG!!! That’s just Tourist Class, nearly the lowest. Just imagine First Class.
Current academics heap derision on John Jacob Astor. He was born rich and despised by the trendy set. Yet he was an admirable man of good character. He said before accepting his fate, stepping aside so that women and children could live, “Tell my wife I played the game out straight” meaning he did his duty and accepted impending death rather than buy his way onto a lifeboat.
It is sad that few today are willing to give him, and the other such men any credit.
You’ve given this some thought!
Rosewater is yummy, and makes a good cocktail mixer.
I get mine from the indian food store.
I had some fun when I was working on it. It was coming up with the appropriate wines and liquors that took some research. If I had that kind of money I would have had a dinner like that. Probably would have had to hire a fleet of cabs to take everyone home, no one would be able to drive.
I eat most everything, but for whatever reason I have a mental block on the squab thing, I’m sure it’s delicious , there’s no reason it shouldn’t be, but all I can think of is city pigeon.
