Rousey posted an Instagram video over the weekend of herself in Colombia enjoying a night out with the crew filming her latest movie.
Rousey, the UFC superstar on perhaps permanent hiatus from mixed martial arts, laughed as she panned the camera around the table and had her party shout out what kind of food was on their plates.
We have a smorgasbord of cultural amazingness, Rousey said.
Rousey is in South America to film the action thriller Mile 22 with Mark Wahlberg and John Malkovich. She has not fought since she suffered a 48-second loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016. Rousey (12-2) lost two straight bouts in 13 months and took a break to extend her entertainment credits, including a stint as team coach in the reboot of Battle of the Network Stars.
Her next battle could come inside a WWE ring.
Rousey has met with WWE executives about the possibility of leaving the octagon for a career in sports entertainment.
WWE fans have been clamoring for Rousey to make the move and speculation ran wild that she would make her debut Sunday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Rousey has made cameo appearances on WWE programming the last few years and even trained at the companys performance center in Orlando, Florida.
WWE will hold its first womens Royal Rumble match (an over-the-top-rope battle royale) which seemed for some fans an opportune time to debut Rousey.

Good summary. She was already in Expendables 3 with Stallone’s all-star cast.
MMA certainly made Rhonda rich. She made 3mil in PPV on her last fight alone. Between MMA, endorsements and movie opportunities, Rhonda has made an easy 20 million off her fighting career.
Her problem was she had no defense for an overhand right.
But you definitely DO quit using the training ‘expertise’ of Edmond Tarverdyan.
If Rousey trained at one of the legit elite MMA centers she could probably make a legit return. that is, if she wants to make an MMA return. More money elsewhere without getting punched in the face sounds like a good alternative.
Raving Bernie fan... Sorry.
I can see where a second career may be appealing to her at such time.
She, much like Brock Lesnar, does not respond well to getting hit in the face at all.
Then if she were smart she should have invested well
Rhonda made the mistake of believing her own hype. She thought she was a devastating puncher and knockout artist instead of a arm bar specialist. She ran into a decent boxer in her first loss and a real devastating puncher in her last loss. She should have ignored the hype and stuck to the style that got her to the top.
Proof from just the 48 seconds that her last fight lasted:
I always thought the Battle of the Network Stars should be fought with belt fed weapons. The world would be a better place.

The trouble with sticking to 1 style is that people figure out what you are doing and adapt counter measures. Hip throw, armbar. Hip throw, armbar. That’s all she has. A punch in the face countered that pretty well. Now I think she has lost her confidence, her ability to intimidate her opponents and her ability to win.
She was sooooo cocky talking back to Mayweather & other people were saying she would destroy him!
I was arguing to IDIOTS on Youtube there is NOWAY a women can beat up a man let alone the P4P Best Fighter in the World!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I think after the Amanda Nunes fight alot of people STFU! LOL
All you have to read is this, that guy was ranked 203 going up against the #1 Woman!!! Mayweather is #1!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

‘Death Cage’ a HUGE arena, get a couple of hundred combatants, fight to the death ONE winner gets 100 mil in escrow and HAS to fight at least 2 more similar matches (win all 3 and walk away with say 500 mil) with the estates going to the people ‘dumb’ enough to buy a ticket AND pay to participate.
That requiring the estates of the recently departed contestants should pretty much fill up the stadium.
Tell certain ‘groups’ they CAN’T participate in ANY WAY and they will be clamoring so hard to get in to the stadiums and ring that we will ‘solve’ most of the problems quickly.
Promoters can own the Closed Circuit TV and will be able to clean up.
With any luck it will turn into an old fashioned ‘Friday Night Fight Night’
Her strength is being a human punching bag.
If any female UFC athletes should be in action movies, its Gina Carano and Misha Tate, not Rousey. /shudder
