Nope! It’s been years since I saw it, maybe I need to find it an rent it. Not sure I’ll be able to convince my wife to watch it though. Maybe?!
She did try to watch the Blair Witch Project with me. She thought it was stupid. I liked it in a quirky way. The kids behind me when I saw it in the theater were laughing at it and thought it was stupid too.
I looked at them and said “I’m guessing you haven’t spent too many nights alone in the woods then?”
But yeah - I can see where it isn’t the greatest movie - but I enjoyed it.
I don’t mind being out in the middle of nowhere. But my spookiest night was on the Appalachian trail. Lots of hikers (so PEOPLE!), and then lots of noises from either distant campsites or perhaps a house back in the woods. You know, the house with the hillbillies from Deliverance. (”Hey - is that Banjo music??!!”)
