Seems to me that needs to be fixed.

I am sure that once the GOP takes over the House and Senate, withdrawing funding from the Guggenheim will be at top of the Republican Agenda.

That woman should be out of a job. Even for a third-rate museum like the Guggenheim (which has an unworkable display space and boring exhibits), this is déclassé.
Incidentally, the Guggenheim Bilbao is actually quite good, and the display space, designed by Frank Gehry, is also good. However, the Guggenheim Foundation is attempting to open a museum in Abu Dhabi, also designed by Frank Gehry, which was supposed to be dedicated to Islamic art but seems to have stalled. Perhaps that’s because Islam forbids images and I doubt that there’s much of an Islamic modern art world...I noticed that the latest notices just say “modern art.”
In any case, what this woman did is insulting and simply shouldn’t be tolerated by the Guggenheim Foundation.
