I have never shot a squirrel, but have been told that we did eat squirrel when I was little. Presume it takes like chicken, maybe with a hint of nuts. Anyway, shouldn’t we celebrate squirrel appreciation day by putting on on the table?
Is Squirrel Nut Zipper the official music?
I appreciate them fried with mashed potatoes and biscuits.
Yum!
It’s been at least two years since I shot and killed one of these rats with wings in my 13,000 s.f. yard but they are still seldom on the ground and only pause briefly on their transit on tree branches. These critters have excellent memories and the ability to pass it on to new generations. I toss the carcasses over the chain link fence in the rear an the next morning they are gone. Fox and raptors are great recyclers. The last few I have missed with my spring powered pellet rifle with bare sights. Might have to break down and buy one with a scope and zero it in. Sucks to get old.
Darn. I missed this year’s opportunity to appreciate squirrels. I feel so worthless and dirty...
...Squirrely ping....
Who created such a day? I call them tree rats and they’re a damn nuisance.
Squirrel appreciation day?
I hate those little monsters!
Rats with big tails, the whole lot of ‘em!
When I used to visit my daughter at Georgetown U, in my spare time, that was my favorite activity...
My sister called me up today and said a squirrel ate her Samsung S4. She lets them in her home and one found the phone.
Chewed the bottom to pieces, broke off the home button and cracked the screen. Still works but I bought her a LG G3 for $69 at Ebay soon after the call. Came out in 2013 but has specs nearly the same as a Samsung S8 ($800). Get the app CPU-Z to compare.
