I'm getting old. I have never heard of Geddy Lee and I'm not aware of ever listening to Rush.
Too many to remember here as well....but I know for a fact I’ve seen Buffett 25 times...

Oh yeah - I did see the Elton/Bill Joel concert too...nice box seats...free beer and food...:-)
Ahhh - and Pat Travers

And KISS again
Gibson Guitar Bash in Nashville.
“Tony Kaye was a freeper. He came to several events.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I did not know that! What was his Freeper name?
Sofa King Awesome!
Rush has always been my favorite and Yes has been near the top as well!
Seen Rush many times and saw them on their last tour. At intermission Geddy said they had to go deal with their decrepitude. They still sounded incredible.
MtnClimber, thanks for posting!
I think he got REALLY famous after filming the following Public Service Announcement regarding safe sledding.
Yes and Rush and Zeppelin and Floyd were my guys back then.
I liked that version ... pretty pure like they used to do it live. Rick Wakeman's son - if that's who it is - has come a long way in a few years I think.
Thanks for posting!!!!
Epic, but Rick...
Nothing wrong with getting old and not knowing about Rush. But FYI:
“According to the RIAA, Rush’s sales statistics also place them third behind The Beatles and The Rolling Stones for the most consecutive gold or platinum albums by a rock band.”
I saw YES in 1975 when I was 12 yrs old. I had a cool older 22...LOL) friend in my apt complex who did not mind hanging out with me because I was mature for my age....so she took me to Moody Coliseum at SMU. It was great...I had been wearing out my LP of YES and I loved them! Such a musically complex band.....thanks for the memories!
Down at the end, round by the corner
Close to the edge, just by a river
Seasons will pass you by
I get up, I get down
Now that it’s all over and done
Now that you find, now that you’re whole!
Yeah I saw Rush 3x always within the first 10 rows....had a friend at ticket master! LOL
I do not know how...but I saw Van Halen 5x!
The first was at the Dallas Convention Center...they were warm up to Black Sabbath....yes...the original Black Sabbath. Hard rockin for sure!
Foghat
Deep Purple
The Rolling Stones
The Who
Ted Nugent
Styx
ACDC
The Scorpions
Rainbow
ZZ Top
Fleetwood Mac
First Texas Jam
It is more like....how many did I not see....I never got to see Tom Petty...I miss him already:(
Those were the days....all people cared about was music and having a good time....
I saw Moody Blues at Lakeland. FL and saw Lynyrd Skynyrd at Lakeland the next to last concert before their plane crash.
Very cool. I saw Rush in concert (the ‘Moving Pictures’ tour) when I was a bit younger than I am now. We lucked-out and ended up in the 3rd row on the floor - right near the center isle. It was so amazing that just these 3 guys could make so much - music... Impressive, really.
Who has the higher voice, Jon or Geddy?
I saw the Union Tour. What I remember most was Squire playing Amazing Grace.
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the video, but was hoping for some vocals from Geddy Lee. Huge Rush fan.
Awesome!
