Raise voting age to 25 but allow military and vets to vote
I have to agree with this article. My kids are 18, 21, and 23. My friends with similar aged kids and I also lament that it seems to be taking FOREVER for kids to grow up and become independent.- even if they want to. Its also hard when we start comparing ourselves at their age.i got married at 23, was completely independent of my parents, we bought a house and started a family soon after. I cant see that happening for my kids until late 20s or early 30 at the rate they are going.
I used to underwrite commercial auto insurance. Checking the MVRs for drivers almost invariably revealed that under 25 male drivers had the worst records. After 25 most of those same drivers’ records cleared up and violations were infrequent. Females weren’t as bad but there were few professional female drivers back then.
Meaning brain development continues to 24 and past. A perfect time to introduce “enlightened” teens to super powerful weed, so they can have their brain wiring screwed with permanently, and so those with the inherited genetic marker regions that react to THC at strong dosage—can go on to grow chemically altered brain function and psychological dysfunction. Just as any other harmful outside agent can affect neuropathways and subsequent behaviours. Who’d of thought. Wasn’t it just all “reefer madness” propaganda. Genetics has come a looong way.
This is probably legit. I was told by a physician that these changes are the result of baby formulas containing steroids. Girls develop breasts earlier; and both genders show much more muscular definition than previous generationns. I’m thinking that a lot of the psychological issues, gender confusion, etc., may also be traced back to feeding ‘roids to infants.
I’ll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me!
Not I,
Not me!
Not me!
I remember Herbert Hoover saying that the voting age should be raised to 24. At the time I was under 21 and thought that waiting until 21 was a long wait.
