I was listening to Glenn Beck this month and he had an interesting topic. He said something is coming that is going to change everything as we know it and that he would explain what it is after the commercials.
He said that with new AI technology it will be simple to make fake videos and fake audios showing anyone saying anything or doing anything. Unlike Photoshop, no expert could ever tell the difference from real videos. He said that since there are so many videos of him out there that it will be very easy to make a fake video showing him doing things he never did.
Does anyone know if such technology really exists now? I have never seen anything to do anything even close to this yet.
Nucking Futs.
Do something outrageous, then see the reaction to it before taking credit or not.
Sounds right up Cheeto Boys alley to me.
I think it is getting pretty close.
It depends what resources you throw at it.
It can be done with digital photographs.
Movies are much harder.
I expect it would be detectable no matter how good.
So many things to fear. I guess he put them all on a dartboard and that one got hit.
It could only help him.
Beck’s been drinkin’ the bong water again.
Sounds like he’s constructing a cover story should they find his office stuffed with kiddy porn.
Thats a plot from a recent Bluebloods episode where someone made Tom Sellecks character look like he said something opposite of his position.
With special guests Artifical Color and Artifical Flavor.
He won’t even need to go to work anymore.
Yes it is available. I even wenty to the website a year or so ago. Very convincing. Can’t remember how much the software costs or if they even listed a price. The Voice part was very easy to do.
Beck is afraid of being Weinerized.
Would anybody care?
Well if it is AI, Artificial Intelligence, the first clue that it’s not Beck is the Intelligence.
Hard to imagine what fake vids would be as bad as some of his real ones! Mr. Cheeto-face....
I have seen it, and it was a bit scary. Give me some time and I'll see if I can hunt it down.
