President Donald Trump is facing a deluge of criticism after appearing to keep an umbrella to himself while leaving his wife and son to brave the elements.

Photographs of the president showed him holding a large black umbrella as he boarded Air Force One at West Palm Beach in Florida Monday.

Probably walked to Air Force 1 with them, kind of awkward to hold an umbrella behind yourself while climbing stairs. Probably turned around at the top to shield family as they topped the stairs to enter. Would like to see the whole series of photos. Our President is a gentleman.

I looked pretty close at the photo and I couldn't see any evidence of rain. In fact, I couldn't even see clouds in the background........Looked like a sunny but windy day

I say, at least he is knowledgeable as to how the ribs/cloth work and has the strength to hold the protection upright in order to use it.

Trump must protect his hair. Every media outlet in the country is just waiting for the picture of his hair mussed up. They would print it so many times, you would swear it was his official portrait.

So, yeah, if there is a windy day, he is going to have his head screwed into that umbrella. He can count on no zone of protection from the press, so he must never appear in public with a hair out of place.

BTW, Barron looks pretty dry standing there is his white shirt, and Melania looks fabulous, as always. I don’t think this was about the rain at all.
