Darkest December: Moscow got 7 minutes of sun in final month

Muscovites witnessed one of the darkest months in history in December 2017 when they saw sunlight for just six or seven minutes, head of Russia’s Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring Roman Vilfand said on Tuesday.

I don't believe this at all. One only needs to go to YouTube and search for Russian auto crashes, Russian fatal auto crashes, Russian motorcycle crashes, Russian fatal motorcycle crashes, and We Love Russia, and one will see puh-le-nty of evidence of wide-spread, constant drinking.

I remember January 1977, the entire Continental USA had cloud cover for the entire month. An extreme bitter cold winter proving a NEW ICE AGE was on the way. Caught my first case of pneumonia that year.

This might be influenced by the drink he has had. Here is highlights from a traffic camera in Russia. I think they don’t believe in driving and not drinking.
