HBO has become pretty good at adapting successful books into successful TV programs. The cable network has another promising project on the way with an adaptation of Fahrenheit 451. Based on the classic sci-fi novel by Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451 is an upcoming TV movie starring Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon. We've seen some images from the movie, and now HBO has graced us with the first footage.

Nobody appears to be capable of writing anything new; T.V . and movies, and even the theatre is now just remakes of old stuff, which they turn into crap.
This will be very interesting. Have you ever read the book? It is a short read and one everyone should check out if you value freedom of thought and what can happen when everyone thinks the same way. Back in the 50’s this book envisioned Facebook and the intentional dumbing down of society. HOWEVER, the ending the book will have you laughing because the “saviors” of this future society aren’t anywhere close to reality. Yet, the producers of this show probably view things exactly the opposite as we do, in which case the “saviors” (or resistance) will make them feel good about themselves. Trump will be seen as the one who wants to burn books, even though the scrubbing of history is done almost exclusively by leftists.

Hell no, I’m not going to watch this! Not because of any racism, but this will clearly be nothing but a PC-packed bulls**t-a-thon.
I was just thinking how Oskar Werner’s deadpan face was the perfect one in Truffaut’s 1966 film.
The Brits did this in 1966 and the director was a Frog who made a great flic. I saw it when it was first run and loved it. HBO must be really hurting for creative capacity to fund a re-run like this.
