Gee, big shock.

This is why I don’t like children with their “own” tablets and stuff.

I’m irritated now that iPad doesn’t allow us to remove Safari (internet) from the tablet.

Why? Safari can be sequestered and or locked out by parental controls. If you prefer another browser there are many to choose from.

problem is tech savvy kids will get around parental block. I know of one way right off the bat that you can get around the parental block, set the device back to factory settings then reload off the cloud all the programing including anything that was blocked through parental block code.

My husband is great at this stuff, and we have 2 brand-new iPads. One is for my son. I asked about this. He said the only thing we can do is allow specific sites. So I guess the icon is there but he can’t do anything unless we approve and specify a site. Does that sound right?
