It was crumby (crummy) from the beginning.
Ignaz Semmelweis was ridiculed by the establishment for suggesting that doctors wash their hands before delivering a baby. Despite evidence that it worked, doctors refused to do so because it went against the consensus of the time, and pathogens had not been discovered. Point being that being a contrarian even with evidence will make you a pariah in the scientific community.
John Casey’s book Dark Winter refutes the Anthropomorphic Global Warming (AGW) theory by documenting the 206 year grand solar minimum cycle. Clearly, the Sun has more to do with earth’s temperature than AGW. LOL
There was a Mad Magazine cartoon about 1965 that showed a neon advertising sign 99 44/100 PURE...but the “RE” was burned out. So it read “99 44/100% PU” which is so apropos for GW BS.
