I was at the Pima air museum in Tucson about 8 years ago.
I was able to reach up and touch the underside of its nose.
Great place to go.
Saw many of the planes, of the models I had built as a kid.
Now I need to make it out to the Air Force museum and see the B-70

Better plan to spend an entire day at W-P — including the Museum Annexes Believe me, it’s worth it!

Last time I went to Wright Patterson (early 2000s) the B70 was crammed into a hanger with a bunch of other planes and you couldn’t see it well...first time (late 80s) it was in the big hanger and was beautiful.

They have the XB-70, SR-71 and A-12 at the USAF Museum, here in Dayton.

Would love to see that up close. Used to go to Miramar Air Show all the time. Might be the only thing I miss about cali.

Just think... The B-70 had six of what the SR-71 had but two. The same engines. Staggers the imagination.
