And yet for others, the overtime loss was the result of a sinister force --
This is becoming the new national mentality.

Those pesky Ga Tech Engineers rigged the game somehow

The dawgs conspired not to make any first downs in the fourth quarter.
I was pulling for them, but they choked like a dawg!
To: Red Badger
It was a sinister force. It was the force that distracted the Bulldog defensive backs. That distraction caused them to let a wide out beat them deep on a 2nd and 26.
Georgia had an excellent team this year. They just fell down when it mattered most.
Darn Alabama and Nick Saban. They are good.

Not a fan of either team, but right after halftime Georgia blocked a Bama punt deep in their territory, but was called offsides and penalized. The replay clearly showed illegal motion on two Bama players that might have drawn them off. A couple of incidents that should have drawn personal foul penalties against Bama were ignored. Also, Bama was routinely holding all night and I don't recall them getting any penalties.
When it comes to officiating, I guess Bama is to football, what Duke is to basketball.

It was fixed. If Saban wasn’t Saban he would have started that kid after the offensive malaise with Clemson. Bama would have won going away with no drama.

And yet, Georgia was only one good play from winning it. They could not seem to make that play.

I didn't watch but checked on the game on the net....I figured that somehow TPTB would give Alabama the win...somehow, someway...

Bulldogs offense held the ball longer, had more yards, more yards on the ground, and led for 3 out of quarters.
Just as Clinton had more popular votes, so Ga should be declared the winner. It is clearly unfair that the winner is based solely on who scores the most points.

Blowing a big lead in the championship game must be a Georgia thing.

Now that it was fake news about what Bo Scarborough said, Im not disappointed in the win (not that I really cared about the outcome).

If anyone fixed that game it was the guy calling the offensive plays for Georgia from mid way in the third quarter. Everything was going good until they went through three or four wasted series running it up the gut and using those mad dog plays.

It sure did look like a fixed game there at the end. Too many high level bookies had too much to lose?
