My husband started suffering with angioedema and hives about a year ago. I blame ibuprofen. He is still having issues, but its definitely better.

much bigger problems than "shrinkage" due to chronic consumption of non-aspirin NSAIDs, ESPECIALLY for those with any kind of heart disase:

Thats bad for our military! In the Army we called ibuprofen Ranger Candy.
In the Air Force if you had your hand severed the Flight Surgeon would prescribe 800mg every eight hours. I was a long distance runner and the Flight Surgeon didn't even take x-rays when I started to have knee pain. He just gave me an open-ended prescription for 800mg of Ibuprofen.

I’ve always been afraid the ATF will some day add popcorn to their acronym since it is fun also.
You know - the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Popcorn.

Yes, I have read that ibuprofen/Advil can be very toxic for the kidneys over time. Same goes for the naproxen based meds such as Aleve. Some people pop them constantly, especially if they have injuries, but the results may be very bad over time.
