Bill Kristol tweets 'I'm With Her' on possible Oprah 2020 bid

Golden Globes was an indication she’s preparing to run for the White House.

Kristol then took-up the hashtag #ImWithHer — once used by supporters of 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton — to highlight his support for Winfrey’s worldview.

In an email, Kristol said the tweets were "tongue in cheek."

"Though if she runs, couldn't she win the Democratic nomination and the general election?" he added. "And wouldn't she be a better president than Trump?"

But seriously, how does someone like Kristol who is supposedly a conservative justify supporting a candidate that would be far left on every major issue?

You're 100% right. It's really sad at how deranged the man has become. Kristol is in a very small group of former conservatives (Max Boot & Jennifer Rubin are two others who come to mind) who have completely lost it in their hatred of Trump. Back in the primary season of 2015-2016, there were a lot of conservative/Republican folks who didn't like or support Trump for various reasons. And that's fine. Not everyone has to love or even like every GOP candidate. But once that man won the nomination and, eventually, the presidency, to jettison your supposedly conservative principles and suddenly adopt contrary principles and start supporting left-wing candidates and positions says more about these so-called conservatives than it does about Trump.

They didn't "lose it." They're just showing their true colors. Bill Kristol has always been a promoter of political correctness, globalism, and multiculturalism, just more nuanced about it than the average liberal. He managed to somehow convince a lot of people that he was a conservative, but now that his emotions got the better of him, the ruse is done.
