So typical of the cynical, divisive, and identity politics left: ‘We could run a black candidate, or a woman candidate, but how about a black woman candidate?’
She is probably more qualified than Obama was who was only slightly more qualified than Howdy Doody.
Do not dismiss her out of hand.
People would argue that she has everything needed, at least, to make the run as a “Dream” Democrat candidate:
- Name recognition
- Rich
- Successful Businesswoman in a tough industry
- Something of a Philanthropist
- Well spoken and appears to be at least literate. (She is a University of Tenn graduate)
Oh and Black, Female and possibly Gay (certainly Gay friendly) - a seeming Trifecta for modern Democrat Party identity politics.
Given the massive hit to her personal wealth taken when she openly supported Obama, I have to wonder if she would ever be a player - but stranger things have happened in US politics. She has faced massive backlash for her support of Obama and again when she dared to say something positive about Trump. Seems *Talk Show Hosts* aren’t allowed a public political opinion....at last by their ‘fans’.
Not having held a prior elective office no longer seems to be an issue as well....
