A day after a winner took home the $450 million Mega Millions prize, another single ticket was sold for the even more lucrative Powerball jackpot.
One ticket sold in New Hampshire matched all six numbers to win the $570 million jackpot, according to Powerball's website. The cash value of the jackpot would be at least $300 million if taken as a lump sum.
A Powerball winner may choose to receive the jackpot in 30 annual payments or a one-time payment in cash.
The winning numbers were 12, 29, 30, 33, 61 and Powerball 26.
The winning ticket was sold at a convenience store called Reeds Ferry Market in Merrimack, the New Hampshire Lottery said. The store will be awarded a bonus of $75,000 for selling the winning numbers.

True but it would seem to take some time and some legal heavy lifting.
I’m thinking most folks who win aren’t always that sophisticated and the state lottery commissions probably aren’t that helpful in keeping them anonymous as they want the publicity of a real live, “ordinary” person standing up at a press conference holding the big check.
2 bucks won’t by a cup of ....
I’d call my Local Tony Soprano’s Crew.
Good for some laughs!
Forming an LLC isn’t really legal heavy lifting, but ya a lawyer should be the first person a lottery winner talks to, particularly before the lottery commission. They just want a PR spectacle and damn the consequences.
Reading through that article seemed to lay out a hard path but it would certainly be worth the effort. I would just hate to hang onto the ticket and not come forward right away while all the legal machinations were carried out. My inclination would be to cash it in asap fearing I would lose it or die or something
I’ve read that most big lottery winners are in bankruptcy court within a few years of winning. If I won I’d give 5 million to family, keep 5 million for myself and give the rest to charities working in Africa.
The amount of entertainment I can get for the cost of a $2 Powerball ticket is far greater than any similar investment, with the added bonus that I have a slight chance of winning a pile of money, and I can earn the $2 in a few minutes doing something useful and productive rather than crapping on other people's fun on FR.
You could at least splurge and get a Costco card. Go all out.
At that point, Lawyers, guns and money solves most of those problems. Says warren zevon.
Then after cashing in the ticket, try not to become incorporeal.
