Best movie heroine ever?
Posted on 01/06/2018 4:36:09 PM PST by MNDude
it seems that Hollywood is pushing female's to play the heroic scenes more and more--all the new Star Wars movies, Ghostbusters remake come to mind.
But movie heroines go back to 1930's Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. Who is your favorite female movie hero of all time?

The full quote...
You know you don't have to act with me, Steve. You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and... blow.

Jackie Brown is one of my favorite Tarantino movies. It has a pacing where the action and payoff slowly rise. Sort of a slow burning fuse.
Interesting point of trivia is that Michael Keaton plays Ray Nicolette. He reprises that role (uncredited) in the 1998 movie Out of Sight, another great movie.
Incidently, Elmore Leonard was a writer on both movies and also wrote “Get Shorty”.
