Roseanne Barr threatened to retire after a Twitter feud on Friday.
The comedienne - who is scheduled to return to ABC this March with her sitcom reboot - called it quits after a series of tweets involving varying political views.
'i won't be censored or silence chided or corrected and continue to work. I retire right now. I've had enough. bye!,' read one of her tweets that have since been deleted according to USA Today.
She followed up with this tweet: 'do not expect to hear anything more from me. Its a waste of time to oppose fascists here. bye!'
And lastly: 'the only way to WIN is not to play the game and I will not play.'
These announcements came after a slew of responses Roseanne made to liberals who were opposed to her support of Donald Trump.
'4 those who wonder-back in the day when I was called a "liberal" by journalists, I used to answer-"I'm not a Liberal, I'm a radical" & I still am-I voted Trump 2 shake up the status quo & the staid establishment,' she tweeted on Wednesday.

IIRC, she’s been outspoken as a pro-Trumper. I like to hear what she has to say and admire her courage to say it in Hollywood.
She is a pro Trumper but not because she likes Trump. She hates Hillary with a passion and liking Trump is the best way to wind her up.

I think that was true at the start, but have heard that with PDJT’s embassy-in-Jerusalem decision, she became more supportive of him. (She may have Jewish family in her heritage...?)

People keep confusing Rosanne Barr with Rosie O’DONNELL. O’Donnell is the Trump hater, and Barr is the Trump supporter.

Roseanne is very pro Jewish and could move to Israel, although she disagrees very strongly with the occupation. She isn’t 100% on anything and I like that.

That's true under the concept of "My enemy's enemy is my friend". OTOH, do you think most NeverTrumpers (Karl Rove, Johah Goldberg, Rich Lowry, etc.) are pro Hillary (even if they voted for her a la Ralph Peters) just because they happen to hate Trump?

Crazy old pothead libertarian but that’s better than being a leftist.(and she’s more politically knowledgeable that Gary - what’s a leppo - Johnson) I heard on the radio that the TV series is coming back and will have Dan(John Goodman) in it even though they killed him off in the original series. Sara Gilbert(lesbo-shame) will be returning and will also be exec producer.
I wonder if the reboot will get political or just stick with blue collar - lower middle class life.

Frankly, Roseanne baffles me. As a personality only slightly less abrasive than Rosie O’Donnell, she adopts the mantle of “radical” with apparent great gusto, yet it is not difficult to see just what radicalized her.
It is not a secret that Roseanne had some MAJOR problems back in her days of adolescence, and was even institutionalized at one time, as a result of traumatic brain injury from a car accident when she was 16. In a fine fit of rebellion, she became pregnant and left her parents’ home, never to return, when she was 18, and gave the child up for adoption. Rosanne has since reconnected with that daughter, years later, but that slowed her tumultuous personal relationships not at all.
Roseanne is a hot mess by any standard. And not necessarily in a sexy way.
