(Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc (WMT.N) was sued on Wednesday by a transgender woman who said she was wrongfully fired after complaining about harassment at the Sams Club warehouse store in North Carolina where she had worked for 11 years.
Charlene Bost, 46, said co-workers at the Kannapolis store where she had been a member service supervisor called her sir, that thing with an attitude and shim, a slur combining she and him. She also said her male boss subjected her to unwanted physical advances and referred to her as it.

Wash.
I think “it” is trying to get a big pay day out of this.
Sorry, lady youre still a guy.
“and referred to her as it.—”
-
So?
She/he has decided to be an “it”.
.
Got Family Members that worked with/know this person
In this case; “Pictures, or maybe it DID happen.”
No one should be called “It” by their supervisor, but as far as co-workers and customers, people will call you what you look, sound or act like. If the masquerade was too insufficient to conceal his birth sex, that is unfortunate, but people will size you up, and categorize what they see. It’s not necessarily meant as an insult. It’s often just an observation.
Imagine trying to explain this set up to some very elderly Grandpa who wants to know why his 14 y/o grandson just got fired from his after school job at Wal-Mart.
Some elders do keep current with the news, however bizarre.
Many others simply tune out the static, have given up on Government Wisdom and will focus only their own environment.
Give us the scoop!!
The rest of us should not have to enable delusions of the mentally ill.
… [the crew] called her sir, that thing with an attitude and shim, a slur combining she and him.
"Shim" LOL.
I love America, land of Mark Twain, H.L. Mencken, and the service crew at the Kannapolis Walmart.
He can’t be a woman just because he desperately wishes he were, to the point where he dresses and behaves like a caricature of one.
If he decided that he was a unicorn, would he get upset if we refused to throw a saddle on his back and ride around yelling “Yippee-ay-yay!” all day? Would he claim discrimination if we demanded evidence that he has equine DNA?
There is something desperately wrong with someone who has such a strong deep-seated fantasy about being something he is not. In part, I think there is a societal issue as well.
I know more from the Rueters article.
Ill see if I can find out.
It (no pun intended) may be a few days. They are asleep and go to work early.
Why do we let the media butcher language like this? They are using “her” to refer to a man. Can’t someone write a script to correct the media newspeak?
Forcing me to deny reality and affirmatively participate in another persons delusion will not cure their mental illness.
Slur? I thought how clever, as these gender portmanteaus are all the rage.
The rule apparently is, "Just don't you try it."
“male boss subjected her to unwanted physical advances”
I’d be very worried about that boss...
The boss that hit on “her” should be fired too. That’s just sick.
