I want no part of the Catalonians. Historically they were the home of the Communists in Spain (Spanish Civil War era) and that mentality still permeates their politics.
Just because you’re fighting globalism doesn’t necessisarily make you a good guy.
The Spaniards don’t want Puerto Rico as it’s just an island full of impoverished, resentful, & unproductive natives.
Which makes that April Fools’ headline much more funny in Spain than it is here.
Communist Cuba, on the other hand, would jump at the chance to add P.R. to their totalitarian state. All it takes is a plebiscite.
