Guests at several Walt Disney World resorts will experience tightened security and revised safety policies in the coming weeks.
Disney has already implemented changes at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Contemporary resorts near the Magic Kingdom, which include the removal of 'Do Not Disturb' signs.
The signs have been replaced with 'Room Occupied' messages that will tell employees that guests are currently inside the room, but will not stop maintenance and staff from entering.

“As for privacy, you’re renting a room; if you’re really bothered by someone entering, stay somewhere else.”
Yea, some of us do have a problem with being intruded upon in hotel rooms.
But then we’re freaks anyway, because most of us voted for Trump.
So thanks for the advice, we’ll explore other options.
‘Do Not Disturb’ signs actually keep hotel staff out of your room? How?
Lol!!! Thanks for the laugh!
And THAT is the reason we always use the DND signs. If I’ve forgotten and left cash and jewelry laying around I don’t want one of the housekeepers scooping it up. Before we take down the do not disturb sign I always make sure everything is put up and kind of cleaned up.
Disney may seem loony liberal now, but once upon a time they were ultra-conservative. (Talk about Magic Kingdom!) Disneyland is in Orange County, which when I was a kid was Nixon Land to the max.
Anyway, back in the 60s a bunch of hippies planned a massive invasion of "evil" Disneyland. My sister, who happened to be there on a senior high school trip, told us all about it. It got in the papers the next day. Pictures, everything.
The hippies took over all the "E" rides & other spots. I can imagine Antifa doing this, considering their level mentality.
Those hippies thought they were saving the world!
Disneyland still remembers that invasion, hence why the Anaheim resort declined to get the turnstile-less electronic entry for the parks when Florida was pushing them to accept it. They’ve had other close calls in the past, especially from the lovely folks at ‘Black Lies Matter’ who made a few passes towards the parks in the past while marching down Anaheim Blvd.
Sans tickets, I don’t think it’ll ever be repeated.
