Not sure how ANYTHING can ruin a series like Dr Who. What depths of stupidity have they not already plumbed?

Doctor Who fans have shared their delight after the Time Lord regenerated into a woman for the first time ever - with actress Jodie Whittaker keeping her Yorkshire accent for the role. Tonight's Christmas special Twice Upon A Time marked the exit of both leading star Peter Capaldi and showrunner Steven Moffat. But the hour-long episode also heralded a new beginning for the long-running BBC sci-fi series as it welcomed the first female Doctor ever.

I will not watch another episode until the Doctor wakes up from a coma to find the current iteration is actually a nefarious plot by one of his numerous enemies to unman and destroy him.
That just happened? I thought the new Dr happened in the spring, already. I guess that was just the news of it??
I gave up Dr Who, 20 minutes in to Capaldi’s run. Already annoyed to tears by Clara (and missed several episodes of Matt Smith’s incarnation because of her)
After the new Doc appears and she’s still around, he’s a doddering old fool and she’s in charge - too much....
Now, I KNOW they gave Dr Who girl parts because everyone KNEW Cankles McPantsuit Clintoon was going to be the leader of the free world.
In short, no thank you.
Last 2 doctors have been largely forgettable...
Poorer writing and acting is the cause of bad ratings...
Pandering gender bending may get you a blip of ratings out of curiousity, but won’t improve them long term... and will look like just what it is... pointless pandering
Frankly of the all the "new" doctors he stunk the worst. I did not even bother watching much after Clara died.
Perhaps I will give it a try again.

Dang leftists never fix what is actually broken. However, they invariably destroy what isn't broken.
No. The bubbles were ridiculous. The version they did on the Simpsons was funny though.

Agreed. I gave up on the new Who last season. The writing has been terrible and the PC got to be too much.
I really liked Matt. Peter should have been good but the writers let him down and they let the PC crap ruin it. I gave up on it before Clara left.
What? My wife loves the Great British Baking Show. She’ll hate to hear that.
Both of them are scary looking.
Mary Berry, Mel, and Sue are gone, only Paul H is to remain. As I said, BBC seems to have a knack for crippling very popular shows.
