A school teacher from Washington, DC has accused United Airlines of evicting her from her first-class seat and giving it to senior Democratic congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

Have Untied Airlines come up with her cancellation request which they’ll conveniently have lost it.
Years ago Geraldo Rivera was getting ready to interview her on Fox. In the buildup, he referred to her as “The Majestic Sheila Jackson Lee.”
Congresswoman Lee’s broom must have needed repairs...
Perhaps she saved for it? Perhaps her family helped her buy it? Perhaps she uses a credit card that gives her airline points so she can upgrade her ticket once a year? Perhaps it’s none of your business?
That attitude is one of the reasons I decided not to teach.

She may bitterly hate steerage, as I do, and gone to a lot of trouble to save up for the first class seat. Also, in many respects they aren’t as expensive as many people may think. For example, a first class round trip from Atlanta to Sacramento, CA on Delta costs about $1,500. A round trip on the same route by car takes about five days each way and costs about the same when you consider oil, gas, auto servicing, food, and lodging. I know, I’ve done both. She also could have carefully saved mileage points and paid for the trip that way.
She should be forced to change her name.

I am sort of curious how a school teacher can afford a FIRST CLASS SEAT on an airline.
This happens every day. The swamp creatures would punish United if they had to have reservations for first to get back and forth to DC.
Shame on you for automatically thinking the worst about someone you know nothing about. The lady traveled to Guatemala which is an international flight. There are sites where you can score an international business class ticket for a third of the regular price. If you have a business class international ticket, you are first class on any domestic connections. Or maybe she save up for years to afford a business class ticket and the Queen Bitch from Houston crapped all over her.
Maybe the school teacher is smarter than you and knows that there are sites that sell business class tickets for international flights for a third of the listed price. She was traveling to Guatemala which is international. If you fly international business class, you are first class on any domestic connections.

My guess is that congress has a private number at United to call and always get served. They probably have a special rep to congress to take care of last minute reservations.

Democrat Congress critters are for the little people. That is why they displace people in the upper class and not in the lower class seats. So, it is for the little people that Democrats seek privilege.
