Well, my boys and I went to Star Wars last night and all agreed it was a waste of time and pitiful installment in such a great series. We’ve only been to half-a-dozen movies at most all year, which is a fraction of what I did when I was younger. Biggest complaint is that many, such as Star Wars, are really lousy movies. Besides, short of 3D IMAX, better to wait and watch at home on our own large screen.

Disney seems to be surviving.
On the other hand since I was 5, I have probably been to over 1600 movies in my life. This year I went to 1. I make list and wait for them on Directv or streaming.
I can’t stand the noise from people jabbering, usually and older couple “Why did she leave him Honey? Also loud sound, commercials and 12 trailers. i can watch commercials at home.
I’m 71 and have nice Samsung and a good computer monitor. I don’t need the theatre.
