Tamarisk is a noxious weed and is required to be removed in some parts of the country.
The club should replace it with something nice, but still block out a bunch of nasty houses.
The real estate agent is trying to get a golf course view he never paid for...I would put up a 8’ wall too!

Did a Google Earth look at this "Tahquitz Creek Golf Course" and all I see lining the course are homes with swimming pools. No lines of trees anywhere.
Just where it this negro community that is so touchy about trees?

In most cities in California, you have to get permission to remove trees. This will be juicy...pitting enviros who never want to remove a single tree against the SJWs who see racism in everything. Tamarisk trees AKA Salt cedars. they suck up the last bit of moisture in the soil and are extremely hard to kill as their roots go extremely deep. A problem tree through out the Southwest.
