White birch trees?
Tamarisk trees. They look like gigantic shrubbery.
It took me some time, earlier today, to track this down in Google Maps, because of the sprawling layout of this golf course. It was only an aerial shot from one of the news articles that finally pinpointed it for me.
There's a unique history to this. This "neighborhood" is very small, and the offending trees run along the back of about 20 houses in a straight line. On the other side of the fairway are houses which I presume were built much later in conjunction with the golf course, and they are not as close to the fairway, by the look of it, so there may be complications!
The "neighborhood" I refer to is the "Crossley Tract", built in the late fifties. You could look it all up.
To be replaced with Black Locust trees, no doubt.
After trees, it will be railroad tracks...
Apologize for posting twice...
Don’t these residents know that
they should be careful what they
wish for?
Property taxes are typically higher
for properties bordering golf courses.
If they could afford a bordering
golf course piece of property they
wouldn’t be where they are now.
